Behind the Story
I set out to create a story that ticked several boxes for me.
One. It had to be huge, and fantastical and something I could really set myself loose in.
Two. I wanted the story to be sustainable. Something that could continue on with an exciting tale for as long as the fans wanted to read it without getting stale or running out of storyline.
And three. I wanted something that could make an impact.
I think Venators does all of this.
I love to write fantasy, not only because magic is my language, but because fantasy is the perfect place to house insights where people least expect to find them.
When immersed in fantasy, our defenses are down, which is to say, we can learn so much about the human experience, gain empathy and cultivate wisdom, all while being swept away by breathtaking entertainment.
